This will be a blowout win for the Jacks against a 15-15 team.

Not if it's the Jacks team that showed up in Sioux Falls. Hopefully that team is nowhere in the vicinity of Brookings tonight.

Yes. That SDSU team would go whimpering into the offseason with back-to-back embarassing losses.

I would guess we will see a focused SDSU team that is out for blood tonight, but this group is impossible to figure out. This WNIT experience will be very different than those of the past. Back then, the team was thrilled to be there and the fans were thrilled to be able to buy tickets and pack Frost. Neither is the case this time around. If we can get a win tonight maybe the attitude of both groups will start to change and this thing will get rolling.

Butler had a 3-2 record against Georgetown and Creighton. We were 1-1 against those teams. Don't let that 15-15 record fool you. We won't be able to get away with playing flat for the first half like we did so many times this year.

Like Steph said ,IT'S TIME to go from March "sadness",to March "madness" again.

This tournament is tough,if a team is not all into winning it and only half committed ,they will get eliminated early on.There are a lot of Conference Champions who are in the same boat as us,got eliminated in the Conference Tourney.Lots of teams with over 20 win seasons.Minn got lucky and pulled out a win, they just about got beat by a determined Green Bay team.

The Butler women will be similar in size to the Jackrabbits. The Butler women average a bit over 500 fans for home games which may be why Brookings is the host site. They shoot 41% from the field with 32% bheind the arc. McDivitt is a senior guard who has the current 3 pt record of 170 in her career(She averages 2-6/game for the season.) She averages over 34 minutes per game and there are another 8 that could get more than 10 minutes per game. they average about 15 assists and 15 turnovers per game. The Butler Bulldogs play stiff competition and I would expect a tough game. Hopefully the Jackrabbits can come out with some zest and outrun the Bulldogs for a close victory.

Time for some senior leadership to step up.
