That will be a great road-trip test. Penn State is always tough, and Georgetown is a tough place to play. Hoyas won an NCAA game last year, although they lost their coach and best player.
Well, gojacks.com thinks its in Brookings, so I guess it's an opportunity to pad the frequent-flier mileage totals . . .

That will be some road trip back and forth. Those three schools are within four hours' drive of each other.

Fixed it. I believe the name of this thread is Jackrabbit Women's Basketball.

It has been very quiet at this spot since the women have been picked to repeat as Summit League Conference champs. It is even more interesting to find that this squad only has one lady considered as an all league(first and second team) preseason pick during the considerations. It will be another year that the women and the coaching staff develop a chemistry that is competitve. It is only 9 days before the women take the court.

Steph Paluch is on the floor, but it sounds like the total healing or confidence still needs some time. The eyes on Chloe give her a positive look for a freshman. Jessica Hart still adjusting to the college speed and strength according to the recent look through the doors. Chloe and Gabby should shoulder the point. Gabby running very well. It will be interesting to see how they put together with 4 seniors the likely leader(s).

I'm excited to see what a healthy Megan Waytashek can do for this team. She was an ESPN Top 100 player coming out of high school and has all the physical tools to be great, but injuries have really kept her off the court up to this point. TV has mentioned her name a couple times in chats as a player that's been standing out so far in practice.

We are the Jackrabbits. No "Lady" ever. You could say the Jackrabbits Women's Basketball team if you would like

Without pressing any political buttons- the men and women basketball programs should make Jackrabbit fans proud. Also, back to the point of 1 woman being seen as all conference preseason pick; we should expect several more women to be there at season's end. Megan W, Katie L, or a Rachel W and Leah D join that group. The schedule is tough early so we ought to find those players before conference. It is not unexpected to see 10 share the load.

I think having only one player named to the preseason teams speaks volumes about our Jackrabbit womens program. They function as a team and do not depend on a player or to like Oral Roberts did. They play together and are usually deep enough - not to mention well coached. Getting excited for another season to start rolling.

well, i see your point, but, i'll still take a bunch of players that work hard and are worthy of consideration for preseason all-conference anyday!

I would wager that Ashley E. will have some company from the Jackrabbits at conference tournament time. It will be great to see how healthy she and the team appear Sunday. Ashley played much of last year a bit dinged up and she still provided a great performance. Even with the depth, there will be time for standout players.

I want to see How Rachel W lights up the net with the 3. I think she has the tenacity to be the next rotert/young from deep.
