First of all, no one said anything about 'hate'. Second, if you don't think he is condescendant and arrogant, go back and watch some of his pressers...and then tell me what you think. I'll give you 'prick'...that may have been a bit harsh. Lastly, before you call anything or anyone 'shameful' on this board, learn how to post with proper grammar and punctuation from whatever device you post with.

The opposing coach has a job to do just as our coaches do. Namecalling is a little out line. But its just me, and I not trying to start something, but these coaches are people too, with families and feelings. Does Coach Paul read our board? Probably not.

And you better learn the meaning of the word "arrogant",seems to me anyway,you more than Paul exhibit that quality,Before you go on a alchohol induced charachter assasination,maybe you should look at your own charachter before you lash out at others .In other words,grow up a little.Screw your f%^&%#@ grammer and puncuation.....talk about condescending,maybe you should look that up too college boy.

The alcohol reference was originally mine, and was intemperate - - - sorry, all.

I'd suggest that there are other things more worthy of vitriol than somebody else's women's basketball coach, in the greater scheme of things.

Just for the record I think Chris Paul is rather condescending and don't care for him much either. Is he a prick? That's probably pushing it too far. Is his team worthless? Definitely not. Do Jacks fans have a right to gripe? Of course. Should they gripe? Meh.

IMHO the only thing he showed in that post-game presser linked here was some whining about Jacks being physical and getting the calls. A lot of coaches do that. Does he give Jacks due credit? Probably not, but so what?

Last night in the mens live chat,TV stated that South Dakotans were not invited to the womens presser.I didn't quite understand - did he mean AJ wasn't involved in the press conference,or that the Jacks writers and broadcasters weren't allowed in ?

Got a chance to see/hear Coach Paul speak off camera with a reporter last year at the summit tournament. I was very impressed with him as he was very respectful of SDSU and what they do, he did feel he knew how to beat it and that his team was capable of doing that. I didn't find him to be condescending or arrogant. After the interview he even spent some time chatting with my family and I. After that I have to admit I gained a little respect for him.

But, that doesn't mean we fans shouldn't enjoy when our team beats his.

Oh yeah but Finkbiner can suck it!

His team is 1-15 against SDSU...maybe he should stop telling folks he "knows how" to beat us or that his team "can beat us" and actually just do it.

in his presser he praises us then goes into a whine about us being agressive and getting away with pretty much mugging them. Rosado just stops short of calling the Jacks a dirty team. well maybe she called the Jacks a dirty team.

A lot of coaches work the refs during the game. Paul imo whines constantly. I feel he blames other teams and refs more then how his team responds to it. Most of the other coaches in both the mens and womens teams I think highly of. Paul and finkbiner I do not care for. On the mens side fife was the only one I didn't like. Part of me doesn't want to like kampe mostly becuase we have struggled against them. But sutton and oru are like the dark side of the force.

I'm just getting caught up on the message board and just read all the posts on the women's win at IPFW. After reading the comments about the IPFW coach, I then watched the press conference and I don't get the animosity, at least based on this press conference. He was complimentary of SDSU although it's clear he thinks his team is improving and can challenge the Jacks. I thought Rosado gave credit to State too.

I think some posters are WAY too sensitive about Coach Paul. SDSU is once again the top team in the league and he'd give his right arm to have his team play aggressive ball like we do. Note his comments about how SDSU knows how to win and when they need a three, they get a three.

When I first spotted him, I thought "Barney Fife" (no, not the former IPFW men's coach, Dane Fife, I'm talking Deputy Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith Show in the 60s). Now, install Barney Fife as head coach... voila': Coach Paul. He's probably a great guy, he's talking to the press knowing his team will hear or read his comments and he's trying to tell his team they did okay against the best team in the conference.

But, yeah, I don't feel too kindly toward ORU's Finkbeiner. Not sure why,...just don't.
