If Lingle is a junior, then Paluch is a Junior, and I know Lingle is a junior, so Paluch is junior....junior.

      I almost lost myself there.

Okay. agreed. That makes sense because they both came from the same town at the same time. Agreed?

          Not quite.

Paluch & Lingle came from Pierre. Heiser came from Watertown.

At least you're keeping the Jennifers (Warkenthien, Schutloffel & Sunnarborg) straight.

Paluch & Lingle & Heiser are all from the same high school graduation year. Heiser redshirted, Paluch and Lingle did not. Heiser is a sophomore (last year she was listed as a redshirt-freshman). Paluch and Lingle are true juniors. Heiser is a sophomore in terms of eligibility.

            Interesting analysis, nonetheless, filbert.

WSU's matchup zone trap defense was executed to perfection (almost) and they had the quick, athletic and long players to do it. The difference in the game wasn't our inability to handle the press and trap zone, but the fact that we made our free throws this time around instead of what happened at MTSU. The almost I inserted above refers to the fact that they were at times overly aggressive and fot themselves in foul trouble. It is hard for officials not to call fouls when teams get overaggressive in rushing up to the trap or reaching in to hard. It was a good game, and a great win for the Jacks. Anytime a team comes in from the power conferences and we are able to beat them is a huge credit IMO to good coaching and the persistence of our team, which rallied time and again.
I thought we did a good job of mixing up the way we brought the ball up court. We dribbled, we passed, we went up the middle, we went at the edges. Mixing up directions does cause the pressure defense to settle back a bit. Using the same techniques only helps the pressure defense.
