I have really been impressed with Matt
Cadwell this year so far, he is going to be something special. On the flipside, Jose Frias seems out of control on the floor. Watching him on thanksgiving and listening tonight he seem to go to the rim every time he touches the ball and just throws it off the board. Sometimes it goes in...most of the time it doesn't.

Caldwell seems to play excellent D and is solid offensivley as well.

We are in desparate need of a consistent scorer. Ben and Steve are all right but both are extremely streaky. They seem to either be on or completely off. I was hoping Andre would be better offensively but so far hasn't impressed, really doesn't seem to have a shot at all.

Holdren heating up a bit, but now down on the floor after hitting the last basket. Not good.

don't want to jump to conclusions but a buddy of mine at the game just called and said Steve was screaming and clutching his leg on the floor. didn't look good at all he said.

btw, said the dunk by robinson from fullerton was by far the best he had ever seen at frost in his seven years in Brookings.

Nothing suprising thus far. Fullerton has a good team and they are beating up on an inexperienced Jacks team that just isn't very good and won't get a lot better this year.

Nagy needs to impress upon these guys how important defense is, especially on the perimeter. We need to hold teams under 70 points because we can't score consistently. Facts are facts, we aren't a good team and can't compete at the DI level right now.

Lets try to win the 2nd half. 49-30 is an ass whooping.

I've been wrong before and I hope I am this time, but I think men's b-ball is going to have the hardest time out of SDSU's teams to find success at this level. We are going to have to be patient and hope that Nagy will be around for a long time.
