What's up with Iverson and the Gophers? Is he hurt?

Thanks to TiVo I was able to fast forward through the ugly part of the game...most of the second part of the first half. Jacks down 19 at the break after looking good early.
I updated my signature for the first time in six years.

Jacks aren't playing that badly, actually. The Gophers are pretty darn good.

              I think Garrett Callahan's arm is tired . . . took, and missed, 4 3's in a row . . .

Thank god for Garrett's shooting or else it would be a 40-50 point loss. As the season rolls a long our lack of physical talent is getting exposed even more.

I was able to pick up sporadic feed from Justin TV. Couldn't tell how much was lazing around and how much was being completely outclassed physically. Guess there's been worse performances this year.

Should probably post the final score in case someone looks this thread up in a few years: 62-92.

definitely the latter. certainly not the former. your guys were hustling out there tonight. but even hustle can only take you so far sometimes.

I had it in glorious HD on the Big 10 Network, and I thought the Jacks looked about as good as you could look in a 30-point loss. I thought the effort was definitely there, but we certainly don't have the horses to be competitive in the Big 10 yet. Additionally, I think we're just not solid enough defensively to keep a more athletic and talented team like Minnesota away from the basket. I thought the offense really looked pretty decent.

That's what I thought, too. Defense was ugly again, but we won't see anybody with that kind of talent for the rest of the year. I'm thinking Minnesota will do well in the Big Ten this year.
                              Holy nutmeg!

But we will be competitive in the Big 10! We will get the horses to be there.
