I agree in high expectations but considering the road record I find it hard to believe expecting 17-1 is realistic. Frankly, from what I saw this year I would think finishing top 4 would be a realistic expectation regardless of what record it takes to do that.

      Re: Next Year

From what I know about the illness affecting Anthony Davis there isn't any certainty that he'll ever recover, much less likely within the next year or two. I don't think he'll play college basketball again. I'm pretty sure we will be able to recoup his scholarship and use it for someone else.

Oakland and Oral Roberts are the only 2 teams that I don't know if we can go 2-0 against. I guess I'm going on the side with caution. I like being pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed.
Oakland looks real tough on paper. They could be a 25+ win team. ORU landed a good big out of Alaska that some major teams were looking at and I'm sure Sean has more quality players coming in. NDSU won't be as bad as many think. IUPUI could/should be improved, if only slightly.

I think we finish somewhere around 4th in conference, somewhere around 10-8.

Yeah, the news i'm hearing on Anthony isn't good. If true, you are right about the basketball program recouping the scholarship. The University still honors Davis's , i believe it becomes a general athletic scholarship.

You are right. Anthony will receive an equivalent amount of money but his scholarship will be used by someone else. My guess, Brayden Carlson will get the funding this year. Again, just my guess.
