BTW - that is no attempted knock on Dan. I always liked Dan alot, just not one of the best tight ends ever.

This was the traditional conferencd leader doing what they do. They really got their act together when it mattered.

The ORU radio guys said it pretty good: when it got to crunch time SDSU was hoping they could do it, and ORU knew they could do it.

Don't dwell on it too much, but you can see the next step that must be taken by this team. It'll happen.

I disagree this wasn't ORU doing what they do it was the Jacks doing what they do and ORU watching it happen - playing with fear and hoping for a win down the stretch rather than being aggressive and confident.

Were you watching the same game I was? ORU didn't win that game the Jacks lost it. You can throw any title you want at ORU the Jacks lost this game. Listen to Nagy he just said the same thing.

My last statement in this thread regardless (hopefully we all post just a thought or two and move on).

This team is a true go-to-guy away from being there. I was pretty surprised when they posted the graphic showing each teams numbers on the year. In every category they were right there or better. They just need someone that knows they can win.

I hate moral victories and I'm sure there isn't a person in that locker room that is happy that they were close down the wire. But I am just trying to keep within expectations. This team has made the tourney and is likely to scare the h-e-double hockey sticks out of someone in said tournament.
