haven't we heard this before - the whole darned season? two winnable games on the road - again.
This is insane, what do they need to do to get a road win?? My god, they played a great second half, had a 7 point lead with 2 min left and still can't get the win. I thought Sargeant took the shot to early, could have waited a second longer probably, but still that didn't lose us this game. It's frustrating, they are there every single game on the road, what do they have to do to finally get that win??
Un ?*%^ing real. I don't understand why we can't win a close game on the road when we have nice leads? I am actually confused as to who we are playing at certain points during these games. We keep taking AC out down the stretch and it is not working.
Kai - no points. That can't happen. We need him badly. We don't score from the field in the last couple of minutes.
how about nagy,
why not call timeout set up a play for the last shot.
once again the jacks can't get it done.
its ridiculous. and there's no one to blame it on but themselves

I completly agree. You cannot take time outs and save them for the next game. Use the damn time out and set something up. Get AC the ball - he showed they could not stop him. Two AC free throw attemps would be acceptable.
My goodness, this is madening. I cannot blame the players at all. We need to put them in the best possible position to win and in my opinion we are not.
Nagy says WI just played a lot harder? Must of been watching a different game than I was.
Absolutely correct. He called timeout before the WIU kid hit his last free throw. Said they set it up to put it in Clint's hands. They didn't execute well in the last two minutes. Not Nagy's fault.
I think in the last three minutes we didn't score, we're trying to burn clock and taking tough shots. In the first half we were'nt very good, was pleased with effort in second half. You gotta be tough on the road and we haven't proven to this point--these kids don't deserve that, but I'm also proud of them how they got back into the game.
We were going to put it in Clint's hand, he was being aggressive and getting good shots, we didn't get the foul call on this end but you're not going to get that late in the game. The question is how do we respond from here. I told the kids, bad things happen all the time, you either lay down or you grow from it. When things are going well you don't really grow from it. I'm proud of the kids, they're playing hard, not giving in. We need to go home and get two.
Western played a lot harder than we did, this is a team that's getting 3 per game on rebounds and they beat us by 11. All that ties into your defense, when you're giving 66% to a team that's averaging 44%.
We took good care of the ball, 2/1 assist to turnover is pretty good, we played good enough to win, it's just unfortunate that that shot went in.
I don't look at the league standings too much, we just need to get ready for Southern Utah. Everybody knows the league is tight, our win against Oakland will help.
