2011 Jack recruits is a much more interesting and fitting topic for this thread than Larson's latest step toward thewasteland of humanity. I certainly wish Brookings would get some sunshine to show BB recruits who are expected to visit campus this weekend. The spring FB game probably will be a sloppy mess. I'm guessing it's a an ugly day across eastern South Dakota.
because there is a thread for him, this is a recruitment thread and he is currently a member of another team. If he is released and SDSU is mentioned then it can become relevant.
On the other hand, hows the weather? are the recruits coming on visits, both basketball and football going to be able to make it in?
I don't see why all this moving of posts is necessary when this is a forum.. hmm

I moved three posts from this thread to the Cody Larson II thread under College Athletics. Lets keep this thread limited to 2011 SDSU recruits. Thanks.

With this news, if the Jacks don't get a LOI signed this weekend by Cougill or Baker expect the spring process to be somewhat slow. However as Terry mentioned on the radio show, the Jacks 3 best D-I players (Wolters, Kai, and Garrett Callahan) were signed in the spring period and not on the first day, Kai and Callahan were very late in the process.
I believe today is signing day (it might be tomorrow), though from all the reports I've seen/heard the earliest I'd expect a signing would be this weekend. Signing day runs until the middle of May, though recruiting can occur right up until classes start, however there is no LOI and therefore not binding.
Reports expect Nagy & Staff to bring in up to 3 recruits, currently 3 known offers are extended.
I'm guessing its the coach, he seemed to be close to committing to MO-State before the coaching change. I was shocked he didn't commit to Iowa though, Iowa's recruit Josh Ogelsby is a high school teammate of his. I don't know what he did to raise his stock but from what I understood he was really close to committing to NDSU about a month ago when he was on an official visit their.
Tennessee isn't out of the woods yet with the NCAA though, they can say they fired their coach and that was the problem but between the football, basketball and even the baseball team they have upset a few within the NCAA and firing a coach might not eliminate the problem.
