        Good:
Scored over 50; held final score under 20.

        Bad:
        Just about everything else.

        Figure. It. Out. Soon, Rabbits!

Thats what I felt. His mid range jumper and ability around the hoop are lethal. Just having a hard time finding his attempts from there.

I think this would have been a tough game to win even with our best foot forward. That apparently was not the case today. Its in the record books now. I did like Griffin Callahan's first game effort. Hope he will be an inspiration to the other guys, who had a tough game today.

Okay I have not commented on the team all season and waited for them to have some time to play together. I think now is probably not the best time but here goes...
We played a great game... we worked really hard... everyone on the team contributed... nobody underachieved... coach nagy did a great job of coaching... i wouldn't change a thing about this team because they have so much potential and wait 2 to 3 to maybe 4 years down the road... things will be better....they weren't better than us... we just had an off game... shoot, next time we will play better.
Does anybody honestly believe this? I know I don't and I don't know what can be done but I do want to see a change. sorry for the rant.

The Jacks shoot 28% in the first half (overall 38% for the entire game). That's a killer. Need to start the game with a good half and let that carry over to the second half. One more game until a break. Hope they can start off the next game on fire.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

                      Re: UNI Game Thread

At least the women won again, beating Valpo. The Jack men are in danger of becoming the second choice of SDSU fans. A distant third if you throw SDSU football into the mix. Who would have thought that five years ago? I still have high hopes for the men's basketball team, but mostly for next season. With the exception of Griffan Callahan's impressive debut (judging from the radio broadcast), there wasn't a lot to cheer about in today's game with UNI. I kept telling myself there is only one senior on the team that plays much (Casey M.), and he didn't play at all today.

He's playing too far mentally from the game, just like the rest of the guys.

They've all been so mind F'd up to this point, I don't think any of them know what to think or do.

Payton Tivis shouldn't touch the floor, let alone the starting line up. At some point, Nagy needs to quit blaming the players for losses and put his best people on the floor from the start! It looks like they are all playing scared to death to do make a mistake rather than just playing the game.

Changing the starting lineup over and over and then leaving the one he has now two games in a row is a joke, bottom line. I'd bet my home on Tivis not starting for another D1 program in the nation. At some point Nagy needs to quit beating the team down and let them get back up.

I don't know what's going on, but I don't think Kai has fallen off talent wise from last year and I sure as hell don't know how our top 2 scorers don't take ONE, SINGLE shot 10:00 minutes into the game.

Let me ask you a couple of questions. Is this year's team better then last year's team? Will next year's team be better graduating only Casey? I'm tierd of losing too but I do see progress.

Wait, wasn't Casey supposed to be good enough to win us 4-5 more games last year, according to Scott?

Okay people are asking me if I have seen a game... YES I'm a student I haven't missed a game. I am going with filbert and I am going to hold my tongue. My SDSU colored glasses have wore off with this team tho.
