I agree..... What I said was the Big 10, Big 12, and Missouri Valley are funded a lot better then SDSU, have way more name recognition and they recruit South Dakota..... The womens teams don't have that huge funding difference like they do with the men....
We lost to DENVER...DENVER.....DENVER.........who?.......DENV ER....Most people in the country woudl have no idea who denver is....And your blaming it on elevation and some foul? Who Cares...we lost to DENVER, DENVER DENVER. Give me a break....we need players. Chad White will be a good addition......Let me ask this question...Any good girl's player from the state..where do they wnt to go?...SDSU.....Any good guy's player from the state...where do they want to go?????.......who knows

I collect John Denver music. He was very good. Some of us know who John Denver was. . My significant other keeps telling me: "Its only a game" that is when SDSU loses athletic events. Have you got all 10 toes and 10 fingers this morning? Do you have your health? Has any one close to you passed from the living? If the answers are all "no", then take a deep breath and enjoy the day. Also I believe Santa Claus is coming to town
Oh yeah, I see Denver U shot 56% and I believe this is one stat that should have our coaching staff concerned about as its happened more than once. I believe ORU had that pct as well. I am sure the coaches are aware of this stat and since they did not play the same opponent in both games, there are a ton of variables to consider. Better them than me.

I recognize the need for people who care deeply about SDSU athletics to vent, but leave the personal insults and name-calling at the door, folks.
Consider this to be a general warning for all posters on all threads.

Will I be openly chastised if I rep you for this filbert?

My observations, Denver absolutely controlled this game and we let them and we couldn't/didn't do the necessary things to change it. They took 41 shots and we took 42 shots. Exactly the pace they wanted and we played right into their hands. Every team we play knows we aren't good at the FT line, they took advantage of that. We out rebounded them and committed less fouls but they took only the shots they wanted to when they wanted to and made 56% of them.
Denver controlled this game from start to finish. A team that is the youngest in the nation played with much more poise than we did. Great performance by DU in a game I'm sure their coaches identified as an game they should win. Our coaches and players couldn't do what they needed to in order to beat this team. This is a recurring theme since transition. The players have changed, the results have been similar from game-to-game, season-to-season.
Really a disappointing loss but I think the credit has to go to DU and their coaches. They executed their court strategy to perfection.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.

Bingo.
This is exactly why this particular loss is so dismaying.
I think this is one game that we clearly got outcoached. Take your pick of the X's and O's of defending the Princeton offensive of patience and backdoors or not having your team mentally ready to go. I'm tired of hearing the same lame excuses of we have been on the road for four or five days and others in the post game press conference. Not many times we have more athleticism than the other team, but this was one of them and we should have ran them out of the gym rather than be content in letting them dictate the flow of the game. I do think their is some talent on this team, but I also think we could win with less talent and more hustle and agressiveness.
YOU ARE DUMB..... YOU MADE THE GIRLS WANT TO GO TO SDSU REFERENCE WHICH says you know nothing.... the difference is when it comes to guys.... if there is a good player... the BIG 10, Big 12 and Missouri Valley come in..... It helps when you don't have to recruit against them like AJ does.... AJ has done a good job, but it helps....... If the Big 10, Big 12 and Missouri Valley had programs like there women's we would of got Colton Iverson....
JB: Enough name calling. Your posts are getting ridiculous. I am neither for or against Nagy leaving. I just want the program to do better....but I swear that by reading your posts that you must be related to the Nagy's.

You just lost your privledge to talk on here.......you make no sense. If the big 10 big 12............"whatever whatever whatever" so i must of forgot how good Minnesota's men's program is---They've made it to the NCAA's 1 out of the last 10 years........you're right......it's really tought to recruit against them because of their great history of success..........Are you kidding---Do you really think Colton said "Minnesota has been really successful, so i'll go there".........Minnesota has sucked for years
I don't know if anyone on this board is qualified to judge what Colton was thinking, but it is pretty hard for SDSU to compete against a big ten school for big time recruits.
Also, people talk about the SDSU women's team being able to recruit... Sam Ostello chose Purdue (that's a big 10 school, last time I checked) over an SDSU women's team that has been lighting up the competition for the last 6 years. AJ does a great job, but it would be interesting to see him compete against Tennessee, UCon, etc for recruits.
And NDSU would be quite a different team without even 1 of the big 3. Imagine if Tubby had been at Minn 5 years ago and recruited Woodside. Do you think he would have chosen NDSU?

next up?? let's move on shall we, It does not make any sense keep going over all the same problems game after game, someone made a smart comment about Kai sitting two games ago and not starting and coming off the bench< did this make a difference ???NO so whats next...It's who finishes and that's the problem as a team they are not finishing , so enough of the individual negative comments. They are a TEAM.
I would love to have some conversation with you guys on here if you want to show who you are instead of name calling and sitting behind your alias's on this board, you know who I am if you go to the game you know where I sit, so come and introduce yourselves to my husband and I, next home game .......

Actually, if you woke up this morning, and can answer "no" to the first question, you may want to take a deep breath, find your missing digit/digits and head for the hospital.
The first place I'd look is the cat dish.
Then I'd maybe have your cat checked for rabies and put down. Cats shouldn't be chewing digits off your body while you sleep.
Then, I'd go back to the hospital and get checked for some sort of sleeping disorder. You shouldn't be sleeping through a cat chewing off your digits.
