        Re: SDSU vs. Dakota State

Looking at the Dakota State Website and roster reminded me that we still don't have player picture links on the Jacks website. Has anyone heard if Mario Brandon will be back with the team this weekend for the DSU game?

I say lets not worry about Mario Brandon, if its family business let him deal with it privately and have his time.  Nothing against you or anything but let's not beat a dead horse.

I'm not beating any dead horse I simply asked if he was expected back this weekend. If you don't know don't respond! If he has other issues so be it.

He is from Chicago so there is travel time involved. Family should always come first. MARIO I believe will produce when expected to.

It doesn't appear to me that Jackguy II said family shouldn't come first, or that he didn't expect Mario would or could produce. He asked if he would be back for the Sunday game, and apparently, you have no idea if he will or not.

It's amazing to me the things we can find to argue about. You'd swear that most of the people on this board haven't snuggled up to someone significant to them in a long while. Of course, considering how much some people post, that isn't too far from fathomable.

How about those Jacks? I predict a 40 pt victory this weekend.

                        Nice cheap shot.

I don't think this was much of a cheap shot. I don't post as much anymore because every little thing people post is dissected. Stating someone is looking to find out if Mario is going to be at the game takes nothing away from the family matters he is taking care of. I hope Mario is here for the game. But I also know family comes first. We need as many of the big guys we have available to play so we don't have the troubles we did on Tuesday night.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I don't disagree with his concern about the temper of some posts. Internet forums are a fairly new mode of communication for human beings and each of us is learning how we deal with what is typed, what is read, and how it is interpreted. Its certainly different than spoken word.

As for the cheap shot, I just interpreted that last line about frequent posters as a cheap shot. I call it like I see it and sometimes that upsets people. That said, I see no harm in what EQ typed, he is calling it like he sees it.

Mario is not gonna be around tonight, but looks like we will have Blake back tonight with the guys, although it could be a game time decision.
