I know others have stated this already, but Tyler Merriam really does a nice job. He seems to be a great fit for Jackrabbit Basketball. Anyone know his relation to the Merriam who works for the Watertown Public Opinion?

Tough loss for the Rabbits 56-50.

Gotta learn how to close it out once you've got a good team down on your home court. I don't think there's any way to be satisfied with being close this time.

Game over, our youth showed itself again tonight. We are competing, just need to figure out how to close out games. Progress is definitely being made, we just need to get over the hump. Man, why are we so bad at free throws too?

Good: kept the turnovers down--only 14 for the game.

Bad:
Shooting percentage (19-57, 33.3%) was horrendous.
3-point shooting (2-12, 16.7%) was even worse.
Free throw shooting (10-16, 62.5%) is unacceptable.
Badly out-rebounded 44-28.
Got 23 turnovers on your home court but couldn't win the game.

It'll be interesting to hear Nagy's comments.

Just checking out the game stats. SDSU didn't have a field goal in the last 8+ minutes of the game.
