We've run into a team that wants to turn the ball over even more than the Jacks do . . . but we're only shooting 2-14 from the field, so we haven't been able to take advantage.

We're hurting outselves but this is a good team we're playing and there's potential the point spread could be worse. However, Utah State having a few problems, too.

The game is not out of reach so we have to hope for a great second-half.

Halftime discussion on WNAX: noted the women's team is sitting at the Sioux Falls airport because Chicago is having some weather problems...trying to get to Arkansas State for tomorrow night's game.

I think the women will be fine. Been there, done that with travel problems, I think those young ladies will be able to handle it.

Regarding the men . . . isn't basketball a screwy game? All year we've had problems with turnovers. Tonight, we have 7 turnovers to 14 for USU, but the rest of the game falls apart as we can't shoot or rebound.

I'm guessing Coach Nagy is explaining this to his team right now . . .

USU holding a 31-14 rebounding advantage over the Jacks.  That's telling.   Interesting to compare that to turnovers: USU has 14 while SDSU has 7.  So, if we can get the shots to drop and hit the boards better when the shots won't fall, we can make up that 11 point deficit.
