    Re: ORU at home

No worries, better than being complacent and accepting the losses. I don't like the losing one bit. I'm just not to the point where I think they are a really bad team, I guess. They've definitely had spurts when they are bad, no doubt about that. But, I don't think collectively it's a really bad team.

Last post on the matter. Sorry you perceive it as "bashing the team". As measured against our peers we aren't performing very well. Perhaps my choice of words was to harsh. 40-17 right now. That isn't good.

    Things to be grateful for:
    1. Our % is now in double figures.
    2. We're hitting four times the percentage of ORU in FT's.
    3. Our founder doesn't make embarrassing You-Tube videos
    4. Engen is having a break-out game.
    5. We're holding our own (4-4) in the second half.

Facts are often hard to accept. Our RPI is 330 plus and we aren't able to score with any consistency or stop any team on a reliable basis. Take it for what its worth and ask for an improvement or ignore it and perpetuate the problem. Doesn't change the fact that I'll remain a fan supporting the university and athletic programs in voice and otherwise. Trust me, I know there is a lot more to life than athletics but this forum is primarily about just that. Put me on your ignore list if you don't like an opinion different that yours. Thats a great sign of character by the way.

I was thinking the same thing. Worst FT shooting team in the league according to Steve. Wouldn't expect that from the #1 team in the league.

Thanks. Perhaps its semantics or perhaps you are ashamed to admit where we are right now. Call me what you want, I assure you I'm no idiot. Please reply to the PM I'm about to send you.

Don't need you telling me, "easy guy" and there is a big difference between saying we were bad that half and saying we are a "really bad" team.

Me calling him an idiot is no worse than him calling them a "really bad" team. I thought it was ok to speak the truth, even if people didn't like it? Or does that only apply to bashing the team?

Easy guy, lets keep it civil. We aren't very good, that's for sure....that was probably the worst half of basketball in school history.

I mentioned earlier we needed (obviously) to start better than 7-29 in the first half last time we played ORU...well...we were 3 yes THREE of 29 in half one tonight. Ouch.
