I must not be familiar with that particular sprite commercial.

    Gotcha, my bad.

TV says the ref that made that intentional foul call is the same ref that made the "goaltending" call vs. Oakland.

    Figures.

You're right, of course. I was trying to comment on the way they were defending us tonight in that first 10 minutes. They weren't exactly in our faces on most of those wide open looks that we missed. I can see that their length and athletic ability no doubt makes them a strong defensive team generally.

Ah man, I thought we weren't doing personal attacks anymore. I'm distraught!

Just got home from the game (3-year-old couldn't make it the whole game) and yes, it was ugly. It's not like we didn't have open looks, particularly during that first 10 minutes. ORU isn't exactly a stellar defensive team. The shots just weren't dropping for us. I have no idea why. I was sitting with a couple of guys and we all agreed that until about five minutes to go in the first half when they hit some threes, it didn't feel like we were out of the game. That changed, of course.

The defensive effort in the first half was good. On offense, we seemed to be pressing. Lots of shots going over the hoop.

On the contrary, they are tops in the league in both points allowed and defensive FG% at 62.3 and and .402 on the season.

    I'll be honest, I don't get it.
