          Well, er, not really. The only team that's been good in recent years is Oral Roberts. After that it drops off really fast. IUPUI and Oakland have been reasonably good on a consistent basis. Centenary might have something this year (the season is young . . . )

          SDSU, NDSU, and IPFW will really, REALLY improve the quality of play in the SL.

            I have been hard on the guys, and I am happy to eat crow. This team at least has heart and that is a great start. I am very proud of the guys. It may still not be as good a year as I had hoped, but if they continue to play this way - it is a good thing.

                      Just wait until USD joins us. Sorry. That's not a comment on USD being that good and certainly not an indication that I like the Yotes. I do not. But I do want to play them again -- even though that's an unpopular notion. As for UND ... what a horrible men's team they have. HORRIBLE. I saw Northern beat the crap out of them the other night. The Wolves were once up 29.

                        Only made 1, two possesion game. They missed but 8 seconds remain. They take an easy 2. Make FTs.

                        Jacks up by 4 with 7 seconds to play. Sargent on the line.

                          Speaking of ORU, please see my special tribute to the old man in the Summit League section (scandal). A wonderful YouTube presentation of Oral admonishing students to always put tab A into slot B, not slot C or D. Team they might have, college I don't think so.
