It gets Old Cadsev your not as creditable as you seem. I looked back at some of your post, first you said that State was done after signing Sargent, Moss, and the Madison kids... You also stated that State was going to quit with the 2 freshman and only go after JuCo kids to even out the scholarships... Do you see SDSU redshirting many of these kids? I would redshirt Moss and Sargent as in there prety much the same player as Cadwell and Kai... As far as Cassady and Palarca... both play possitions that would allow them to come in and play good minutes, and I don't know enough about the two guys too know if a redshirt would benifit them or not.

And as far as Alcester being in Scotland I don't get the joke at all, Alcester is east of Berdsford. Scotland the town is west of Yankton and Scotland the country is part of the United Kingdom.

 

SDSU has signed a 4 year HS player from CA.  That leaves them with one scholarship left right now that is going towards a JUCO player.  They will sit on a scholarship for the 2009 class and give the JUCO one to either White or Fiegen in two years.

For the 2008 class they only have one remaining scholarship.....why because they already have received a verbal from Colorado HS Athlete James Rader (6'7" 4-man).

The remaining scholarship in the 2008 class will be put towards a big.  They won't sign a guard.....UNLESS SOMEONE LEAVES AGAIN!  Gee funny how when scholarship athletes leave they open up scholarships and needs, making room for more athletes and making it possible to sign more kids in a given class.

This is the current state of recruitment today at SDSU.......oh and they anticipate 4 scholarships for the 2010 class.....good thing.......decent athletes in state to choose from that year.

I found some stats on maxpreps.com
averaged 10.5 ppg shot 52% from 2pt 33% from the perimidor, averaged around 3 turnovers a game :-/
played on a prety good team... was a 4A high school, (Cassidy was 5A)

I'm guessing you're asking if Nagy is done recruiting high school seniors for the 2007-08 season. I would venture to say "yes" because of the need to save scholarships for the underclass verbal commitments.

I don't think it was a personal attack. The words that were typed, in the order that they were typed, do not allow the reader to understand what he is asking about. Both of the followup posts indicated they didn't understand the question, but tried to answer it. Was it in regards to players whose eligibility is up in 2007 or begins in 2007? What was meant by "4 year eligibility"? Does he want to know only about players that did not redshirt? Or was it about potential recruits that are not coming the juco route? Many posts have indicated SDSU may still sign a juco player, but a recent signing may have changed that situation. If this was a one-time issue for joeboo22, I think he would have gotten a simple 'huh' as I have on occasion. However this is not an isolated incident.

As for many members' comments that people post as they talk, please remember that on the board we can't hear your tone, inflections, etc. This makes it difficult at best, and at times impossible, to know what you are talking about.

yes it is a recruiting thread... I guess I could of worded the question like this. If SDSU signs any more players for the 07 class will it come from other than high school seniors, and preferably from JuCo's with 2 or less years of elgibility.

I don't think you really want to know the answer to your question.  The topic has been covered more than once in this thread yet you still fail to understand that YES, SDSU is seeking a JUCO for the remaining scholarship for this year.  NO they aren't seeking to fill that final scholarship with a HS kid who will monopolize the scholarship for 4 years making it impossible for them to offer a scholarship to both Fiegen and White in the 2009 class, unless they plan on sitting on two scholarships for two years.  That isn't going to happen.

what im getting at is with it being expected that cadwell is out if any thing has changed. But now that I tally it up his scholarship was already insence given to one of the madison players.

If SDSU can't land Iverson or Schilling in 08 would they be better off holding it off for the following year and see if anybody emerges locally out of that class. locally meaning SD, ND, MN, NE, CO, IA

Youve got to assume that Mo and Benw ill both indeed be back. The lack of a post recruit seems to indicate tha. Hopefully by 08-09 Anthony, Thomas and MArk will be ready for major minutes and we can add another cycle of young big men.

In Kai's recruiting year there were not many really, one kid from Saskatoon his name is Chris Bodnar could have played for the Jacks last year for sure, Kai has an older brother Jamal, he is fine where he is playing for the Cougars in Regina but fundamentally he is a far superior player than Kai is, I think next year there is going to be a huge difference in the games, and if we can get all the players on the same page as far as team work goes and how committed they are all going to be all will be well, it takes 5 guys to win.
