If people are going to steal rankings and other stuff from my site, can't you at least give a link?

An excellent point . . . Everybody, please be mindful of intellectual property/copyright laws and ethics by excerpting articles rather than cut-and-paste, and by providing links back to any information source you're quoting or referencing.

(in other words, cite your source, and don't present someone else's work as your own. Sound familiar?)

        Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Appreciate your work and wish I had the motivation to make the time to pursue the same info.

Is T.J. McCauley SDSU material? I heard some colleges south were lookin' at him

T.J. McCauely is not a D-1 player. I've guarded Pesicka, Peterka, and T.J., and I'll tell you right now T.J. is the 3rd best player out of those guys. Don't get me wrong, T.J. is a very good HS player and should be able to continue on basketball to the next level, but it won't be at a D-1 school. He could turn out to be a pretty good D-2 player. He does have a very good offensive game, but lacks some athletiscm to play at d-1 and his defense is very poor. T.J guarded me, and I don't claim to be a stud by any means, I might be able to play at a d-2 school at best but I could blow pass T.J. My coach at one point told me to take TJ one-one any chance I had. He plays the passing lanes well and gambles to get plenty of steals but his man-man defense is very poor. TJ isn't even as good as his older brother Derrick. He won't be the type of player that Nagy will want. If SDSU goes for any point guard this upcoming season from SD it should be Peterka and only Peterka.

Pure speculation here, but the fact that we are looking at another recruit would make me think that Berte is not going to return. If that is true, by my math we would have one scholarship to give right now.

12 players on Scholarship (13 available in NCAA Division 1):

                      Frias - SR
                      Kleinjan - SR
                      Loney - JR
                      Mario Brandon - JR
                      Cadwell - SO
                      Hornby - RSFR
                      Engen - RSFR
                      Bilitz - RSFR
                      Callahan - FR
                      Cordova - FR
                      Bassett - FR
                      Kai Williams - FR

                      On Roster:
                      Casey - JR
                      Yackley - RSFR
                      Hoogeveen - FR

I think when they decided to file charges back in june was when we realized Big Mo wouldn't return. I dunno, doesn't the trial begin August 23rd. I kind of expected Mo to be back if charges weren't filed but when they were I had a feeling Mo probably wouldn't be back.

Another JuCo might bring some more of the leadership we need.

Are you saying one scholarship is available for this year or the 2007/2008 season?

The NCAA says you can have 13 scholarships for men's basketball. This year we will have 12 players on full scholarship. In the fall of 2007 we will be at the 13 max limit.

It appears we will have 10 players on scholarship for the 2007/2008 season after the two seniors (Kleinjan and Frias) use up their eligibility. If we are plannning to be at 13 that leaves opportunities to land 3 more new players. The 10 are Cadwell,Loney,Bilitz,Engen,Hornby,Williams,Bassett ,Cordova,Callahan,Brandon.
