  • No BS on this list ... I don't think he pulled his name from the draft yet - did he?

I believe that a few of the top performing players from the G League camp that he will attend get invites to the Combine.

      • Baylor gets to make the decision. We have to respect that decision.

Some of you need to remember that recruits and parents of recruits read this board. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe they’ll see a passionate fan base.
Maybe they’ll see a general love and affection for the coaching staff.
Maybe they’ll see the high expectations for this program.
Maybe they’ll see generally speaking a high level of gratitude, respect and affection for the players.
Maybe they’ll see a reasonable board unlike a program not to be named to the north who has a thread 286 pages long talking about it’s head coach.
Maybe they’ll see the disappointment from the fan base who is losing one of its best players.

I agree. I’m not going to hate on him. But he walked away from SDSU. I see no need to keep
            trying to kiss his feet.

              Good reminder, da coach.

Baylor's sister, Masa Scheierman '22, is committed to SDSU and the Jackrabbit Volleyball team.

I think the number of people that are upset with Baylor are in the minority. This isn't so much about what he did vs. the system the NCAA has created in my mind.

I don't blame him for taking the money and trying to raise is draft stock. In this life you have to do what you think is best for yourself.

                • He moved to a contender for a National Championship. I say good for him. I wish he was still a Jackrabbit, but we will be fine. Next!

Im not on social media, so I am asking because I don't know, but did he post the standard,

Thanks Jacks fans etc, and its been amazing and loved it and blah blah blah and I have an amazing opportunity to chase my nba dream etc.?

Like many athletes do when they move on? Did he tweet anything out like that that wasn't posted here?

Just curious, because that I think goes a long way, in leaving on a positive and generally positive feedback from fans and players etc. A thank you letter is never a bad idea especially in the fast paced and ever changing world of college sports.

Yes he did … his “exit” on his part showed nothing but love and gratitude.

                        • Box score from the first game
The game is on youtube and can be found here. Baylor first entered with 14mins left in the first half (subbed out with 10:14 left) and then again at 6:07 (until the end of the half). I only had time to watch the first half, so here's a rough breakdown of some of the plays (all times game time and not video time and sorry for the spoilers)

12:55 travel on first touch in the corner
12:31 steal into overthrown cross-court pass that his teammate had to grab at the baseline and threw it away resulting in a turnover
10:54 nice quick pass from the wing to a wide open guy in the corner who missed the 3

He maybe had < 5 actual touches in the half-court offense in the first half including the two already mentioned, and the others were just passing the ball around to keep it moving / passing to the PG. He was waiting on the wings otherwise for passes for that never came. Three point specialists / catch and shoot players like Creighton product Kyle Korver obviously have their place in the league, but I guess I was hoping for a bit more action since everyone at the camp has the same goal in mind. Looks like all of his contributions outside of the steal / first turnover came in the second half.

On the defensive side in the 1st half, the players he guarded took three shots, one made three at the top of the key out of two attempted and then another missed shot in the low post. He got called for a foul on an and-one in the paint. He was coming over to help.

                            This is where I sit.

I hope that the recruits and parents of recruits look at the majority of the fan base. If you can find a fan base that does not have some fans that go overboard, good luck.
Thee majority are not happy with the NCAA (or Supreme Court" in my case). They are the ones that are changing college sports into semi pro sports. At least the NCAA should make the players sit out a year so it is not just an utter free for all.

I wish Baylor was still at SDSU because I think SDSU would have won a game in the NCAA tournament with him. It will be a lot more difficult without him. The five new players coming in would have made SDSU better (even with the loss of Douglass Wilson). I do not know if SDSU will be better with the loss Wilson and Baylor.
We will see how it turns out.

Two round mock draft right after the lottery ... no BS in this version.

He wasn't include in the 7 players from the G-League camp who got invited to the combine. That likely sealed the deal concerning the draft.
