Great idea to take into the game for the fans. There was some loud grumbling about players last night. I will contribute that to the alcohol for those I heard and like my wife said-"I hope they do not have the same seat tickets next year!"
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

That's a good suggestion. Is it fair to assume you made the same suggestion on the Bison fan board?

          Rowdy is correct.

Officials: Lamont Sampson, Frank Spencer, Rob Kuenman. A-Daryl Smith.

Exactly - if you play off of Rosga and he throws in a 60 footer (which we know is possible from situations in the last week), this board goes absolutely bat-s*it crazy. You can't play loose because you expect an official to make a bad call. And the clock operator did us no favors - there is no way all that action took less than a second. He must have dribbled for at least 20 feet.

All that took less than a second? Yeah, right, ref. Terrible call. Parks' 4-point play a couple minutes earlier was the turning point. Way to never give up, Jacks. One more time now.
The play that Parks made that got overlooked was getting the rebound on the missed free throw. It looked like the two inside players on the blocks on both sides just froze - don't know if they thought it was two shots or if they were shocked that Rosga missed. Deondre went up and got the rebound pretty much uncontested.

I just watched the replay on espn and it looked to me like the official raised his hand with .05 to go. I also thought they could have let things go when bittle got fouled. i think he fell on his own but Daum would have possibly had the layup at the buzzer. Still dont think Parks fouled on that last play. 99.9% of the time the ref wont blow a whistle in the end. Another call that i wanst sure about was the 5 second call. Sure seemed like a fast 5 seconds. The same ref called that one too. Honestly, ive never liked that guy. He has done quite of few games in Frost. But its over and we can move on to today. Marshall will score double figures tonight........i hope.

The last 10 seconds of that game was possibly the most bizarre 10 seconds I have seen live. Reffing and all the other BS aside, the bunnies made a lot of plays when they needed to.

I think the bunnies get some production from Bittle and Marshall tonight and take down the Bizun 75-63.
I actually agree with both of you. You still can guard them without being directly in the players face. You can't let the official blow the whistle in that situation especially with the way fouls were being called on both ends. SDSU has been VERY fortunate so far in the tournament.

Notice Theisen and Daum setting perimeter ball screens in those highlights, not camping out in the post like last night.

All year long our post players have run screen and rolls on the perimeter, it is like we tried running a completely new/different offense last night. Very bizarre.

You have to defend to run time off the clock. I think the Parks was expecting better decision making from the Denver player, the true freshman looked out of control. IMO, a veteran player doesn't let their momentum carry them all the way to the sideline, they would be ready to jumpstop or change direction when the defender jumps them as Parks did.

I think Parks was trying to turn him (to run time off the clock), but Denver freshman just put his head down and kept going. Then the refs bailed him out.

I agree. You can't just let him get a completely uncontested shot off. Parks tried to turn him and the ONLY contact was the Denver player extending his forearm.

I'm guessing when the officials reviewed the time on the clock they noticed it was not a foul. I've said it before, I'll bet the officials are glad he missed.

Nope, wanted to make the suggestion to fans who will actually attend the game.
