The dreaded bison come to Frost tonight to do 2 things. They have lost 5 of 6 road games in the Summit as the only victory they have is WIU. The bison could use some momentum with a road win even though Miller is likely to be on the bench yet tonight. Also, the bison are the last visiting team to have a win at Frost back in January 2014 and I would guess they want to keep inside the heads of the Jackrabbit team. The flu should have run its course among the Jackrabbits and a healthier team will be on the floor tonight. Bittle will be playing for the Jackrabbits in this match against the bison which should be a positive factor. It is show time for the seniors as the final 2 home games start tonight. Jackrabbits should send the bison away with another road loss. Go Jacks!!

Re: GDT: Jackrabbits vs. Bison
Looking forward to getting to Frost tonight for this one. The Bison will have something extra to play for tonight, as NDSU announcer Scott Miller passed away early this morning. Scott spent a ton of time with this Bison team over the years.

On to the game ... The Jacks should roll in this one. I see they are favored by 10, which is presumably assuming P. Miller doesn't play. The Bison are a different team without Miller; Jacks are at home, top 2 seed on the line.

I've got a nice blue and yellow shirt you can wear tonight!"Life is short so make sure you spend as much time as possible arguing with strangers on the Internet." - Person

Possibly, but it's tough to run away from a good defensive team like NDSU, even with Miller out. A quick scan of their schedule shows only one 15+ point loss all season (20 points at #5 Iowa State).

Flatten can NOT receive a medical redshirt for this year since he has already redshirted.
A hardship is different than a redshirt, as a hardship extends the 5 year window of eligibility to a 6 year, whereas a redshirt means that the season does count as a year of participation (you get 4) within the 5 year window.
A hardship requires missing 2 years due to injury, and many have said Flatten and SDSU will have to provide medical records that document that he was redshirted his freshman year due to injury.
It's one thing to apply, it's another thing for the NCAA to grant the waiver. We won't know till after his senior season. If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.
