Nagy said in a pregame interview last weekend that Flatten wasn't cleared to play yet by the docs, but that he was participating in practice in a limited fashion.

Also, he said something interesting that they don't want to hurry him back and "waste a year." Whether or not that means he can get a medical redshirt, I don't know. Just thought it was interesting.

SDSU is not comfortable on offense, and most of it has to do with how UNO is playing. Credit where it's due.

Parks with a big 3 as the buzzer sounded.

Jacks lead 46-40 at halftime. Pending review. Shot is good.

Jacks shoot 58%, go 9-16 from deep. Tellinghuisen leads with 15 points on 5-6 shooting from deep.

Omaha shot 61% and went to the FT line 12 times, making 8 of them. Jacks only went twice.

Daum, Bittle, Moffitt all with 2 fouls.

That final three by Parks is big. We are going to need all the points we can get to hang on to this one. Omaha is on a mission and this game is being played exactly how they like it. Thankfully the Jacks shot better than normal in the first half. It's hard to count on that happening in the second.

listening to the game on the radio is hard to tell how its going but we have the lead and the home team has more FT and shooting better but we have the lead. Not sure much to complain about in this first half. Little concerned with the foul issue though.

UNO is defense is such a high risk, high reward style. Tons of gambling leads to easy buckets on both ends of the floor.

It's nice to see Telly shooting the ball well again. When he is making his shots and playing tough D, it makes the team that much better.

Not bad to be up 6 when Daum, Bittle, and Moffitt only played a small sample of the 1st half.

The loose ball fouls by SDSU this season has been ridiculous.

Would love if SDSU could get some of these calls. UNO has been more aggressive, but I feel like when SDSU drives, they still can't get ****.

Yes he said in live chat last week that numbers were slowly dwindling for game chats so they are not doing them.

Jacks are 11-19 from deep and 9-17 from two.

Teams are trading threes right now.

                        Omaha leads 53-52; 16:35 left.

Telly with back to back threes!

He's 7-8 from deep with 21 points. Wow.

Thurman with a blatant push off on Telly but Telly gets called for the foul going into the media timeout.

The official actually went into the SDSU huddle to confront Nagy, who is understandably, upset.

Jacks lead by 5, 14:58 left.

                              What a shootout!

I get the feeling that Patterson and Hollins are going to will Omaha to a win down the stretch. They are playing extremely well in a game so well suited to their style. The Jacks' HOT three point shooting so far has been enough to keep a narrow lead. If we cool off even a little, look out.

Reeeeeeeeeed! Been waiting so long this year for a game like this from him. Clamp down on defense and we should be able to pull away.
