They have already scored more than they did at Frost and there is 9:00 still to play. We just don't have the D tonight. Seem to be a step slow and often out of position.
Not playing with two of your starters might do that to you.

Jacks down 10 at the under 8 timeout.

Jacks can't buy a stop defensively right now. Weber still at 58%

Jacks don't look like they can get enough stops to get back in this.

At this point you I just hope no one else gets hurt. And we hold them to less than 100. And we don't lose by 20.....

Still time for a big comeback win though. Down 9 with 6:00 to go.

I know Marshall is out, and he scored 17 against them earlier this year, but I just don't see Weber State keeping this one close, unless we play like we did against UMKC.
              You were saying?

We played zero defense. Zero. The total lack of defense effort is shameful
Grumbling along and embracing my role. If I didn't care, I wouldn't care. Go Jacks!

Jacks might give up 100 tonight.

Weber leads 88-77 with 3:20 left.

Every time the Jacks make a run, Weber hits a big shot

                  Jacks are rallying.

Down 2 with :21 left. Weber at the line.

                  Makes both.

Jacks down 97-93 with :21 left.

Telly misses the 3. Jacks get the o-board. King with the bucket.

Jacks down 97-95, :05 left. Daum fouls Weber St.

                      Jacks down 4, :05 left.

Final: Weber State 99, SDSU 95.

Parks with 23 points, Tellinghuisen with 22, Moffitt with 15.

Jacks shoot 45% but give up 59% to Weber State.

Here's the difference. Jacks were 11-17 at the line, Weber was 27-36.

Not a good defensive effort , but you have to appreciate the fight to the end while being minus two starters. Considering that and playing at altitude, they had to be gassed.

One team was allowed to play much more physical than the other. It was pretty frustrating to watch.

Also, when a team shoots 60% what can you do. Everything was going in for them.

This seems to be par for the course, especially when going west to play. Not real sure why, but it seems to be worse in the Mountain and Pacific time zones than going east.

Nagy said on the postgame that he doesn't expect to have Bittle or Marshall on Sunday.
