Re: Injury Updates
I thought the postgame indicated that Flatten may be able to start practicing. That is not any timeframe for playing, but he must be getting some clearance or improvement to move to practicing.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. The Jacks are also hopeful that swingman Skyler Flatten will be able to begin practicing soon. Nagy has not given up on Flatten returning this season.
Though there will be a price to pay later in the season, we are fortunate to have the early part of the Summit schedule set up the way it is. The only road game in the next 20 days is at IUPUI, the clear favorite to finish last in the league. If there ever was a stretch where there might be time to have people healing up, this is it. Starting on January 16, however, things get difficult (consecutive road games at NDSU, ORU and USD over a 7-day period). That's where we are going to need all hands on deck.

If we can get Jake and George back healthy we are going to be in good shape.

Re: Injury Updates
This doesn't have anything to do with injuries, but has anyone heard any reports of how the redshirts have looked in practices ? We sat close to the floor on the end where the Jacks were warming up and I was surprised how big Dykman is. He is all of the 6'7 he is listed at.If he is truly a guard as it says in the program,he will be a match-up problem for a lot of teams. On the other hand, Gentry looked tiny - it didn't help that he was standing between Dykman and Flatten though.

On a side note, every time I talk to him I'm impressed. Great, down to earth dude-South Dakotan by birth, a Jackrabbit by choice.

Re: Injury Updates
Jackrabbit Insider had some nagging injuries for the men. King and Marshall are in walking boots. Parks still has a sore back. Bittle is not practicing.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Re: Injury Updates
By the sound of it Jake will practice on Tuesday. That'll be a nice sign. The boots for Marshall and Parks are as much for continued healing as anything. Pretty sure they'll be ready by Thursday. Down to 7 healthy players at practice yesterday. Not good.Nothing better than "motorboating" the Gophers!
