Definitely off to a good start. Nate who??
Seems like in the D2 years we often got off to a bad start, lets hope we don't slump along the way.

Yeah this team may be one of the best we have. The next few games will be really telling. I like where this team is heading and flatten if he comes back healthy will be a huge plus.

At the end of the article in the Normal Pantagraph, Nagy says that they just signed a recruit from Illinois.

I see the proper thread has discussion of the new recruit.

Funny post-game interview with Coach Nagy talking about his dad sitting two feet behind him and "if you wonder where I get my negativity!...." Very funny. Said the refs looked over and Nagy said "that's just one of our fans, it's not me. I didn't want to tell him it was my dad, he would have T'd him up".
            That's hilarious!

Very curious to see how Flatten figures into the rotation when he comes back. There are only so many minutes to go around.

I am guessing King and Moffit, maybe severyn will lose a bit, but if anything give rest for parks and Telly and bittle so they dont have to play 30 minutes a game. Flatten seems like he could fit into a lot of postions for this team. as long as he is healthy he would be hard to keep off the floor.

Don't disagree with anything you've said, but unless his defense has improved, he won't see significant minutes.

Very true. the way the team is playing Defense they are locked in to start the season. His athletic ability will be hard to keep him off the court though.

What is Flatten's injury and when is he expected to return??? I have been away from the board doing family activities and hunting so that's been taking up my time. Watched the first game of the year last night on ESPN3 and was impressed with this team. Gonna be fun to watch these guys this year.

I believe Flatten had "minor" knee surgery (if there is such a thing) at beginning of season and was expected to be out 4 to 6 weeks. I don't know his current status. Someone else might have better information.

Bring Flatten in only for out of bounce alley-oops and then pull him out of the game.

ISU leading #2 Maryland 54-52 with seven minutes left in the other Cancun bracket. Obviously playing better than they did against the Jacks.
