Sorry but Horstman has never had a nice 3pt shot, it is ugly and is not his forte'

Broman can shoot it no question but not from the bench. Tellinghusen seems to have a nice stroke too. The biggest issue i've seen with our lack of 3 point shooting is so many are late in the shot clock or contested to an extent. We seem to have spot up shooters available to us on the roster but not getting them into good spots to let it go. I believe our 3 pt shooting % will improve once the offense gets more flow.

Didnt he come off the bench like his freshman year at IUPUI knocking down several in a game we were lucky to sneak out with a win because the rest of the guys were struggling big time? Its not his go to, but he can knock them down.....which at this level would hope most players to be able to make 3s to some degree of consitency. They sure made it sound like in practice his freshman year or so Horstman came in jumping and dunking and really impressive during practice like he was good enough to play just to many other better options in front of him so he wasnt really able to make much of an impact but the talent was there.

check that it was western, he was 4-4 and I think we won by 1. he shot 34 and 36% his first 2 years, only 21% last year. Overall the first 2 years 3 pt shooting wasnt bad by any means, big drop off last year though.

I think SDSU fans would probably have a vastly different opinion of Horstman's career and abilities if Chad White never got hurt.

He might be the perfect example of why us fans would like to see Nagy us a deeper bench sometimes. Now he is a Sr and should be expected to be a big contributor but never got a chance to develop into that role and now he has to figure it out which as a Sr you sort of home and expect them to make that adjustment better, but to much he might have sat on the bench and missed his chance to grow into a better player during games. That and his back/injuries sure didnt help him get on the court faster too.

SDSU ranked 27th in the latest Mid Major Poll as well after this past weekend. Here's the link...

                    Re: This Year!

                    From TV's latest blog:
                    http://www.argusleader.com/story/ter...arly/22198651/

So far there have been 28 conference contests. Ten of those have been decided by double digits. The Jackrabbits have accounted for five. Nobody else has more than one.

What's more, SDSU isn't merely squeaking past the threshold. Its average margin of victory in five league wins: 21.6 points. The five double-digit wins are consecutive, too. The Jacks haven't had a run like that since ripping off seven double-digit wins in a row late in the 2011-12 season.

Going to be a 15 or 16 seed for sure. I like the Jackrabbits chances.

Winning the game in Tulsa would be a huge bump for the Jackrabbits confidence and attention. Tulsa is a hard place to win. It would be great to see the Jackrabbits continue their tough play on the road. The Bison finish the conference season in Tulsa as well.

A win in Tulsa would be significant for the Jacks.
