    Re: Jordan Dykstra

Braun is the best IMO but Dykstra deserves consideration. Both are invaluable to their teams. Bader is a shooter and one of the best ever but not a MVP in my opinion.

Jordan has been named a finalist for the senior class award. Only 10 men and women get selected for the award. He is in some VERY good company.

I voted for Jordan today. I'm glad Jordan has been included on this list, what is sad to me is that Doug McDermott is a distant 3rd to the two from Florida and Iowa State in voting. He has elevated Creighton to the elite in college basketball and from what I've seen has done it with class. He could have skipped his senior year for the NBA and while he may have increased his stock modestly, he still will likely fall below 10 or more freshmen and sophomores in the draft.

More outstanding recognition for Jordan Dykstra: First SDSU and first Summit League player to be named Senior Class All-American by the DI coaches, media and others. Here's the story on GoJacks.com: http://www.gojacks.com/ViewArticle.d...CLID=209452402

We're going to miss that guy not only on the court but in the classroom and on campus.

I'm going to assume that he will continue his career and play overseas. I also think there is a good possibility of him playing in the NBA Summer League.

If I recall correctly , Jordan is intending to attend some type of Med school. If that's the case , more basketball may not be in the cards.

I thought he said he wanted to continue playing basketball and if that didn't work out dental school was next.

Pre-dental was what he said in interviews.

Jordan Dykstra signed with agent Keith Kreiter of Edge Sports International. (Kreiter's top current NBA client is Robert Sacre of the Lakers.) When the semester ends he will head to Toronto for workouts. He has been working out with Brain Cooley and Deb Remmerde (former SDSU womens grad assistant).

I did not honestly see him as a NBA player, well how about that. Naters are going to Nate could have an accompanying thread.

There's no way Dykstra will get drafted but he will for sure end up on a NBA Summer League Roster. I could see him playing in the d-league or overseas for a couple seasons especially with all the former summit league players having some success (Gaines, Hamilton, Westbrook, Mckinney-Jones).
