I would be most surprised not to see a 8-9 man rotation. The load Nate carried on offense will need more hands to carry this year.
Interesting reading on this site in regards to Nate and how SDSU will replace his scoring. I watched only a handful of games last year but it always seemed to me the other players did a lot of standing and watching Nate during those end of game/shot clock situations. Can't believe that'll be the case this year. While I don't believe you'll have a ball dominant player like Nate with the Jacks this year, they have quite a few players who can shoot and the ball movement is a thing of beauty at times. After watching a few practices a couple things have become clear to me. They will try to play as fast as possible while under control. They have a drill where the requirement is to get the shot off in less than 10 seconds from inbounding. You may see a record number of 3's put up because to me everyone outside a couple can shoot and make the three. That being said, they'll go down low to Cody quite often as well and let his sheer athleticism create points as well.

I for one find this year's team under appreciated and look forward to the starting of the season.

If we get Cody playing time on defense, it might be a huge weapon with his strength and athletic ability to be a one on one player in the post that may not need as many doubles low.

I have heard the same thing. They are going deep and playing run and gun. I have heard that Sevryn and Broman will be getting time but not sure about the other freshman.

The Jackrabbits are getting good press in Pierre. It would be great if the Brookings Register had a few more lines like this article for the Jackrabbits. It is interesting to hear that there will be a faster pace for the Jackrabbits as well.

Well TV reported that Nagy said the starting lineup will be Carlson, White, Dykstra with Larson and Heematra in the frontcourt. That's 6'4", 6'6", 6'8", 6'9", 6'9". Not bad, not bad at all

I like having Dykstra at the 3. I think he could be very successful at that position. He has the athleticism and wingspan to guard his guy, he can shoot over his defender, and he will be able to post up his man. This has to be the biggest lineup since becoming D1.

Its about the only line up that you can play Dkystra at the 3. I just dont see that line up running and gunning as much as it has sounded like so far. thats more of a work the ball in low. Almost like how oakland used Benson and Hudson, that was tough to stop, this can have that affect also plus with heesmtra passing ability and dkstra able to play down low or outside for the 3.

I am more instrested to see how the bench plays out. who gets the most minutes, what sort of roation they develop.

It's going to be mismatch city in many Summit games! We just need competence from the PG so that these pieces can go to work.

Except no one on the team plays like Benson. Everyone in that starting 5 can stretch the floor and hit a 3. Not sure what you're talking about. Yes maybe Larson can pound down low a bit (we don't know yet), but just because they're tall doesn't mean they can't run.
