I will be more upset if we lose the omaha game. We are not a great road team but were aweful tonight. Hope we get better before we play on epsn2.

Your RPI is 75(After this game)...it won't hit triple digits barring a collapse.

Not sure what was worst this year. Losing hoftsra or usd or this game or needing a white 3 to beat und. I sort of would like to have a second chance against the goophers now that we have a healty wolters and minn is struggling. Seems we play them when they are hot then the collapse.

Yeah, but you had three people playing 45+ minutes two days before a national TV game.

What was that, a 7 place drop? I guess I'm feeling overly pessimistic.

10 spot drop....The loss was really a killer for your 12 seed hoops or NIT hosting I guess.

Could get some of that back though with a win at Murray State, they are at 105.

I think after any sporting events loss we as jacks fans need to go back and read the story about kailey vandrovec being in the hospital and it would really put this game in perspective.

Interesting year. This team has one of the Summit League's top wins (v New Mexico) but also some of its worst losses. Go figure.

The optimist in me says 'go to bed, everything will be better in the morning.' We've seen this team recover nicely from prior missteps.

Not good. Canaan played 49 tonight; no one else for Murray played more than 32.

I still think they should bus to Kentucky. Let them think about it and be tired and pissed off. Worked the last time.

I think CSU got some help from the refs tonight. At least that is what my ears were telling me. Tyler mentioned and I heard in the background a very unhappy Coach Nagy. Wasn't Coach Barnes complaining in the press conference about uneven foul calling in the game in Brookings? I guess those guys refing tonight must have heard him or caught the video. Being an independant, I imagine they could hire just about anyone they wanted too like they did in the 1960's. Some of you dont recall names like Eddie Livingston and Howard Connors, but I do. They refereed every home game at the Barn, until the NCC finally got a full time commissoner. Howard was a math professor at USD, but loved that SDSU money he got for refereeing as did his partner in crime, Mr. Livingston.
                          Just saying...

The bottom line is that our guys could have played much better than they did. If they had, the game would be in the win column.

The refs absolutely changed the outcome of this game. The two teams were held to very different standards. CSUB got to play very physically, SDSU had numerous head scratching fouls. That changes the way the Jacks play. They have to be very careful on every possession-while getting numerous knocks, bumps, illegal screens. CSUB also got away with a lot of travels. The Jacks didn't play well but considering the standard of the refereeing, most of them played as well as they were able to in the situation they were in. Yes the Jacks could have played better and minimized the influence of the refs, if they had made free throws down the stretch they could have pulled it out. Fact is they didn't, they lost. The game is done and the Jacks are on their way to Kentucky. I'm disappointed in the outcome of this game. I hope I never have to come to Bakersfield again

IF we win the Summit and go to the NCAA tourney, our seed will depend on what happens in the other conference tournaments. If there is some upsets it will be better for us. I looked and there are 12 other mid major conferences where the top teams RPI is over 100. So i would think we would be 14 for sure. Of course who knows the the selection committee is thinking.
