Good thing the team arrived yesterday, they closed Interstate 5 between LA and Bakersfield this morning due to snow. They closed it two weeks ago also when we drove to LA and we had to go around along the coast. It is about 100 miles out of the way.

I think snow is just following the team. Is it going to snow in Kentucky too?

The 9 PM tipoff will be a little different. Lots of time to get evening activities done before settling in for the game.

I haven't seen anything yet. It's not uncommon for games not to be listed until shortly before they start.

I checked Cal State Bakersfield's website and no TV listing was there except for a preview of the game from their coach. I'm assuming if they don't have a way to watch it, it won't be on TV. There is an audio version for $2, but I'm not paying for that.

One wonders what Jacks' RPI would be without that horrible loss to Hofstra, which is 5-21 and has an RPI of 317. Bet we'd be in the 50s without it and an at-large would not be out of the realm, especially with one of the nation's best players.

I too have been to Bakersfield and I would agree with that. Drove past Buck Owens' Crystal Palace (my dad was a big fan) on my way to the hotel while I was there with the Jackrabbits that last time they played CSUB.

My dad listened to a lot of those guys but i honestly didnt grow to appreciate that music untill i was actually in high school and really going to college. Would love to visit some places where that music and the outlaw music with Willie, DAC, Waylon etc started.
