Bader did not win this for Oakland, IMO. He will get his. Duke Mondy won this game for them. 26 points 6rbs 6ast and 4stl off the bench.
Did Mondy's points count for more? Neither player "won" the game for them. They both played outstanding games and contributed a bunch towards a team victory.

How many of these OU guys are back next year? Dont tell me all of them.
All of them except Valentine. They will be excellent next year. With Mondy's development I might put them slightly ahead of NDSU at the start of next season.
I thought we played pretty well. We had a few too many turnovers and had some possessions where we did not defend as well as needed, but all in all, I thought we played well. Oakland is good and they are a well-coached team. You have to give them some credit. It is time to start another winning streak. Teams are going to have to play as well as Oakland did if they are going to beat us. I am excited about the home stretch. Go Rabbits!

True. I counted 3 missed layup/bunny type baskets for us. Hitting those probably wins the game, or changes its tenor significantly. I was really irritated by those. Bunny is probably the wrong word for them, too, since OU was always contesting those, but a strong up should get those buckets fairly easily.
I think it's also appropriate to give Oakland a lot of credit for their performance, as they hit tons of tough shots and played with tons of emotion. For some reason, they bring it when they're playing the Jacks in this building.
I still like our chances in the Sioux Falls Arena.

OU could be the team next year unless our new guys give us some unexpected results. I see Bader and Mondy are back.
Agreed. I know Bisonville already has a spot reserved for their 2013-2014 Summit Championship trophy but I think (at the very least) OU and Denver could easily mess up their plans. Denver has won 10 of their last 11 and graduates only a single non-star player.

Almost forgot about DU. Our conference is going to be really good again next year.
Based on losing Tony and Nate and what every one else has contributed, we are going to get run through.
It'll be an adjustment for the team, but we keep our best perimeter defender, our second best interior defender, our second best player, get a young point guard who defends well, and another pure shooter. If Nagy can coach defense we'll contend.

I agree, I dont think we have EVER had an impact player like Wolters, and he is going to be sadly missed next year. Its seems to me that Nagy is really going to have to retool the offense. Our new guys can add try to replace the Wolters impact, but its going to be hard. Carlson, bless his heart is a very good player, but he like White seems to feed off Wolters.

Definitely will be an "adjustment" year, but we'll go into it with very different expectations than this year. It will be fun to watch what looks like a very promising set of underclassmen develop during a "nothing to lose" type of year. We could definitely surprise some people if one of the young guys comes in with a bang. I'm looking forward to watching with a different attitude.
But before we get to that.... there is some business to finish here in 2013!
