School record for points and 3s in a game. Previous record was 44pts and 8 3s in a game. Points record was previously held for 40 years and 3s in a game had prevusly been held for 26 years. Just wow.

They better be on ESPN. TV said that his 53 points is the most scored in a non-overtime D1 game since 2009.

Think about that one for a minute.....

The sad thing is that we needed almost every point.

@SportsCenter just tweeted that "South Dakota State guard Nate Wolters scored 53 points tonight (9-14 3-pt FG) for the MOST scored in a D-1 game this season"

Wolters' performance made the ESPNU "Bottom Line" in the "Lead" category.

The Wolters vs Canaan Bracketbuster match-up would have gotten a lot of buildup on ESPN even before tonight, but it's going to be off the charts after this performance.

                              Yup.

Look for the "ESPN Family Of Networks" to promote the ever-loving crap out of the Murray State-South Dakota State BracketBusters game.
