Unfortunately, I was at the women's game tonight and didn't get to see Nate's amazing performance. I laughed a little while reading this thread, for those posters who wondered if they should pay $5.95 to watch...I think they got their money's worth! The greatest thing about Nate Wolters (and there is a lot of great things about him) is that he doesn't have a "I want to be high scorer" mentality. He is the consummate team player. And he is always at his best when the team really needs him. Quite some time ago, I made the statement that we probably wouldn't see a player of this caliber at SDSU again (sure, we can hope). I know one thing...all of this comes in D-1 baby, and those records crashing down are coming against the best competition we have ever competed against. Everybody better enjoy it while they can. Don't really know whether I can get to sleep tonight!
Did a google search of Nate Wolters...the computer now fills in the letters as one starts typing. First up:
New York Daily News with the headline: "Nate Wolters of South Dakota State Scores a D-1 season-high of 53 points in an 80-74 win over IPFW"...big picture too http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/co...icle-1.1258567
That man was raised right. Always kept coming back to team. Represents the university well. Maybe some of his soon-to-be NBA teammates can learn from it.
Couldn't get this to play in Chrome. Anyone else having problems?
Worked in my chrome. Wasn't impressed. I thought it'd be the news story, but it was just video of a half dozen or so of his shots and the post game interview.

Nates Peformance on ESPN Sports Center. It was brief...but it was nice! Thanks to fellow Twitterites...ESPN said that it was being asked for on Twitter!
