The facts: The Jacks have two fewer upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) on their roster than the Dons, they graduate the same number of seniors as the Dons, and all but one of the Dons' players who are averaging over a bucket and a free throw a game is either a junior or a senior. The one who is not is a sophomore averaging 6 points a game. Yes, the Jacks lose two great players, but the Dons will lose what is likely to be their alltime leading scorer and another who is their third-leading scorer and top rebounder. Collectively, the Jacks will graduate about three more points a game.
The bulk of this interview was based on a construct that is just not factually correct. Also, is this the softest speaking head coach in D-1?
Sorry if I revved up your Anti-Dondom, Filbert. Here's hoping the Jacks pound the prehistorics.

Re: IPFW
Serious question, i am at work and to busy to google, maybe i will later, but are Mastadons the same as wolly mammoths? Then they could change their mascot to Manny the moody mammoth and that would be pretty cool. When I think of IPFW I think of the pool birthday party scene in old school when one of the pledges has to wear the elephant costume."The most rewarding things you do in life, are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” Arnold Palmer

Fun fact: According to Wikipedia, "mastadon" is from the Greek for "nipple tooth."
Enjoy!"I think we'll be OK"

For those who do not think Eastern Time Zone, the pregame is 5:30 and the tip is 6:00 for those who have CST as the norm.Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

Re: IPFW
I checked the IPFW website: http://www.gomastodons.com/showcase/
It's only $5.95 to watch the game. Very cheap and I'll be watching this one online.Disclaimer: This post may contain assumptions and/or opinions related to Jackrabbit Athletics.

Here you go Goon - if you click on the image you can see a list of differences between Mastodons and Wooly MammothsMessage for the youth: “Set your goals high and work for them, because if you set your goals where they should be, it’s going to require a lot of hard work. And even if you don’t achieve them, it shows longevity, and it shows commitment. And those are both things you need for the rest of your life,” Tony Fiegen

Re: IPFW
According to his twitter Matt Donlan is on this roadtrip with the Jacks - probably taking the place of the injured Bittle. NOT suggesting that he will play.Message for the youth: “Set your goals high and work for them, because if you set your goals where they should be, it’s going to require a lot of hard work.
