Disappointed with the loss, but no need to be upset about it either. Really just a good, intense basketball game. I feel fine about our chances going forward.

Officiating was HORRIBLE - talk about home cookin!! SMH here - there must have been something wrong with the video feed that deleted all the actual fouls and only showed me imaginary fouls when our guys looked at the Bison. So many bad calls, thank goodness they sucked at the line because they had about a zillion more opportunities.

Ok rant over, I thought we dug ourselves into a hole early and then dug ourselves out with some good play, great defense and decent rebounding. If that's the best that the Bison can do then I like the way March is shaping up.
The color guy from KFGO whose name I dont know is an idiot. Fortunately his comments had no affect on the out come.

Jacks are what they are. A team with a great player and a bunch of guys that can play really well or not very well on any given night. I truly believe this team can and will win the Summit league and yet I can easily conceive a way for them to finish in 4th place. Another loss that could have been a win is certainly more damaging than the alternative.

BTW, officiating was subpar, no surprise.

In the first half, there was a total of 2 free throws shot. Thought that was interesting. Fun game. Enjoyed it from start to finish. It was like a church in there until Saul got fired up. Likeable guy.

Hope the Jacks fans get home safe.

This is one that could have gone either way and we battled back from a 13 pt lead that we spotted them in the early part of the game. It could have been a Belmont melt down, but our guys fought back hard. Bjorklund seems almost unchallenged at times. We need more of a true post player to match up with him. Heemstra is a better baseball pitcher than maybe a good post, but he still has time to improve.

I don't want to belabor anything as my comments wouldn't by appreciated much anyhow, so I'll just say this about the result: Not good enough. If we can win in The Pit, we can win in Fargo. Tired of losing to NDSU. That's a carryover from football season.

Last three possessions, not including the half-court heave, Waters didn't even look to pass. And that's fine...just deliver the goods if you're not even going to check other options. Mostly, though, the D wasn't good enough tonight. They shot 54 percent. White was a no-show. We didn't show up ready to play. I don't understand how that can happen.

We can't keep pissing around in these close games and hope to win them all on last-second shots. Eventually, we get bit in the butt. It happened tonight. End of comments.
Grumbling along and embracing my role. If I didn't care, I wouldn't care. Go Jacks!

                Why didn't white play?

Kind of harsh on Nate - would have been another Belmont if not for him.

I strongly disagree with Jacksfan96. Nate did some amazing things in the game and the result may have been much worse if we didn't have him.

Nate is who I want taking any of those shots. I'd be pissed if he had given it up.

Agree completely. With that said,iv'e seen no other player that has even hinted that they want to be the man in those situations.

White played. 26 minutes-0 points-2 bds. ineffective on defense.

Watched the video feed which also included KFGO announcers and Scott Miller commented often on the the plays of Nate Wolters, even said that it was NBA style and it was. Naters are going to nate, but damn this kid is very good and he is the leader. Those times he did take it inside, he knew exactly what he was doing, and we could have tossed the ball back and forth to set up the play, but why not take it to the hole if you see a crease in the defense?

I think Prince matched up better on defense, and that is why we saw him get a bunch of time in this game. When we needed 3 pt artillary, White came in. We were not about win this with White 3's, we needed the best match on defense.
