That game was certainly there for the taking. We dug ourselves too much of a hole in the first 10:00 and got virtually no scoring from a couple of guys we really count on.
No meltdown here. From what I've seen so far, expecting the Jacks to win all their conference road games is crazy. I'm just glad they had a shot at win with :30 left.
We kept it close with against a strong team on their home floor. I feel good about our chances at Brookings and Sioux Falls against these guys.
No meltdown here. We were in the game until the end. No team is going to run away in the conference - wouldn't be surprised if the conference champs end up with 3 or 4 losses. With two more road games coming, the Jacks need a couple wins so they don't dig too big of a hole.
No meltdown here although I would seriously like to cause bodily harm to their commentary team - their comments about Marcus Heemstra questioning calls was seriously distasteful and out of line - but hey, they are Bison, we can't expect class can we??? Officiating was HORRIBLE - talk about home cookin!! SMH here - there must have been something wrong with the video feed that deleted all the actual fouls and only showed me imaginary fouls when our guys looked at the Bison. So many bad calls, thank goodness they sucked at the line because they had about a zillion more opportunities.
Ok rant over, I thought we dug ourselves into a hole early and then dug ourselves out with some good play, great defense and decent rebounding. If that's the best that the Bison can do then I like the way March is shaping up.
Message for the youth: “Set your goals high and work for them, because if you set your goals where they should be, it’s going to require a lot of hard work. And even if you don’t achieve them, it shows longevity, and it shows commitment. And those are both things you need for the rest of your life,” Tony Fiegen

Just joking, I think our guys played with poise tonight. Like coach said in the post game show, some defense mistakes were made and that was the difference.
Don't feel to bad about the loss...hope our guys do though. I've always maintained you start down 10-0 on the road in conference...especially when we play these guys. BUT...Wolters needs to make one of those runners at the end...big time players make big time plays. I'm sure some here will think I'm being "harsh", but pretty sure Nate would agree with me. At the end of the day I too am confident that we can beat these guys at Frost and in SF. Go Jacks!!
