Can't believe we won this game without a monster performance from Dykstra.

We had 15 turnovers as well.

We did outrebounded UNM as well, don't have the numbers right in front of me. Great, great win. Great FT shooting down the stretch by White and Wolters too.

Doesn't mean nearly as much if they don't go up to Fargo and beat the Bizun.

Obviously conference games are important but I believe the Lobos were 54-3 at home since Alford took over. It is a win over a top 20 team on the road

Dunno, he seemed to be a force inside on defense and scored key buckets on offense... He's so good sometimes we take him for granted.

Correction: Boxscore indicates we had 18 turnovers. Wow. What good defense we had.

Again, not saying he played poorly. Just, if you would have told me we were going to win, I would have assumed Dykstra would have to have a MONSTER game.

The guys can react one of two ways:

1) They can feel like they accomplished something and sit back a bit (which will get them clobbered in Fargo),
2) Or they can build on this and try to play better against NDSU (which will give them a chance to win).

I think we'd all much rather see #2.

(Somewhere other than the punchbowl, I mean.)

Do not forget that over 15K fans for the Lobos were there watching this game!!! That was a home court unlike many that the Jacks have to play in front of such a favored team on a big stage. Congratulations to these young men!

How many were due to offensive fouls? Still, 18 TOs is a lot to withstand. Good work by the team to overcome that.
