    Re: 4 players leaving...

Oregon had a guy this year who graduated from LA tech.... Iowa State the same last year with a guy from N. Illinois. Chance Lockett could be the same. The 2 JUCO's Nebraska let out of their LOI's can transfer and play immediately as they aren't officially there yet. Traditional transfers still sit out a year - although sometimes hardships can transfer and play immediately - Tyler Smith left Iowa and went right to Tennessee due to an ill parent.

Granted we are only talking about a few minutes a game but I was very nervous when Carlson tried to play the point.

Maybe Zach wasn't happy about loosing a year of eligibility on mop up duty and could see that next year wouldn't be any different.
I was happy with Carlson playing point instead of Zach. Brayden is very steady, not a lot of flash, but he is a very, very good basketball player.

I will miss having Zach on the team, but he got the least minutes of anyone on the team this year. If we were going to lose a scholarship player, his departure hurts less than anyone else would have.

Best of luck to all 4 young men. I don't know any of them well but was looking forward to seeing them develop and contribute in any way the coaches thought they should. I'm not surprised that Nagy is most disappointed by Zach's departure but I have no hard feelings. Life is short and a basketball career is even shorter. When you are use to playing its hard not to play. Its hard to comprehend what it is like to be a high school superstar and then have to sit on the bench in college.

Apparently the Jacks aren't the only Summit teams losing players. Kyle Sikora,7' red-shirt center who started about half the games this year is leaving Oakland.

I think that is a loss that is bigger then most people think it is. He was a pretty decent 7'0 who had red-shirted and was still skin and bones, if you put 30 pounds on him he would be a force to recon with.

I think that was expected, his older brother is the assistant coach there. I think he will do well there

I agree. At 6-2 with his quickness, he should have an immediate impact in a league where it is common to see guards under 6-0.
