On the topic of playing Augie and Northern...Neither game would excite me but if I had to pick one, I'd go with Northern. If my memory is correct, Augie's students didn't quite get the idea that it was no longer acceptable to throw stuff on the court. When I've watched Northern come into Frost, I've watched some pretty classey players and coaches ready to give it their best. But, I'm not in favor of annual games.
Can tell it was a blow out on a team that we didn't care about. Tyler and Justin Sell spent the 2nd half chatting about SDSU sports, and occasionally Tyler would add, and ____ hit from ____.
Perfect no-brainer shoot around extra curricular break from finals week. Now back to tests.
Chad White scored 22 points Monday night as South Dakota State ran its winning streak to five with a 93-60 victory over Dakota State. Taevaunn Prince added 15 points for the Jackrabbits (9-3), while Jordan Dykstra had 12, Griffan Callahan 11 and Zach Horstman 10. Brayden Carlson had eight assists and five steals. Luke Lamb scored 16 points to lead the Trojans. Cameron Krump had 11 and Jesse Bean 10. The Trojans were outshot 53-42 percent, were outrebounded 45-24 and were outscored 40-20 in the paint.

By comparison, for whatever it's worth.....Augie beat Dakota State 83-69. Northern beat Dakota State 84-77.
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back.
I did not see the game nor even listen to it, but it appears Nate Wolters had the night off in order to repair that bad ankle. Anyone heard anything about the ankle, and will he play Thursday?
