I think that some of you are expecting way too much from this team..the fact is we are under qualified to play D-1 this year and the coach has said it over and over. This is a building process and one that will take a few years. These kids do work hard and I really don't think they want to lose any more than we want them to lose. But, no matter how much they practice or how much coach pushes them they unfortunalty have a cap with the talent that is available. Some of these players averaged one point a game last year. Our bench is very shallow. Some of these players have been nursing colds and Holdren still continues to play when he has had Mono since sometime in December....yesterday at practice he was still nursing a sore throat....Can't be on top of your game when you have Mono...We don't have any depth to relieve these players.
Next year will be a littler better and the next year will be a little better than the previous year etc. We gotta hang!! They will get it. Nagy is a great coach and will find a way to make it work. There is not much not to like about his style.
