    Re: Western Michigan

31 for Wolters. Last I heard Fiegen had 17. Didn't get to watch much of the game, but this is a nice OOC win to start the season!

glad to see Wolters back to his usual self. Fiegen looked like a good game. Otherwise Carlson and Hortsman sounds like hit a few shots that really helps.

Wolters 32 points and 11 assists according to live stats. Without him we are toast. Nagy is right, gotta have some of the others step up!!

Even better with those 32 points and 11 assists? 3 steals and 0 turnovers. I REALLY wish I could have seen this game. My roommate said he dunked it too.

According to Nagy on the postgame, Dykstra sprained his ankle in the first half which is why he probably didn't look so hot.

Great win by the Jacks. Wolters was amazing and Fiegen played really well. Easily the best game of Fiegen's young career.

The Wolters's dunk was sweet too. It was almost as surprising as Clint Sargent's dunk last year against Iowa.

Didn't see the one last year. Was it a two-handed flush like today?

How's this for a Saturday: went to the men's BB game...great game and a great win over a very good team. And had a radio with me to catch highlights from the WIU football game. After the Bb game, retired to Cubbys for a couple of tall Guiness and listened to the end of the WIU football game.

Cubbys has internet so the iPod touch is working.

                  Next: volleyball v USD.

                  Pretty good Saturday.

I think Dykstra always looks winded...not sure if he is not as well conditioned or if that is just his demeanor when on the court. Noticed the same thing last year.

Prince tried to get a put-back shot up under the basket and got stuffed. Looked like it could have been a jump ball, but the ref called a foul, and their coach got T'ed.

Yep...he can't get up and down the court more than 3 times without gasping for air. I would have liked to see him develop some moves down low over the summer, but he clearly prefers playing outside.

And like I said earlier in the thread, he sprained his ankle in the first half. Not worried about Dykstra.

Are you sure? he looked winded...I think I'll write him off for the rest of the season as a disappointment after one game....
