Re: 2011 Recruiting List
TV has posted some news regarding players leaving and joining the team.
Two true freshmen are no longer with the SDSU football team as of spring semester: Running back Brad Tunge from Marion and offensive lineman Alex Smith from Scottsdale, Ariz. Both are still attending classes at the school.
In other football news, Burnsville's Cam Jones recently made his verbal to the Jackrabbits before ever setting foot on campus. That doesn't happen all the time. But it may have paid dividends for SDSU in the sense that Jones was already on board when he finally visited over the weekend and therefore may have been a solid secondary salesman.
"Talking to Cam - he's about the best recruiting I know," Blaine QB Eric Kline said.

I wish both Brad and Alex well in both of their future endeavors. But I am really getting intrigued with Cam Jones. How exciting to have a recruit commit before ever setting foot on campus. Having that combination of passion with the physical tools he has, and the experience of having played QB in high school. That is exciting. He could help out the passing game immensly with that size and ability to read defenses.
