    Re: 2011 Recruiting List

This is a huge class, not only in talent, but also in size. So far 25 commits counting preferred walk-ons and I would guess at least 2-3 that we haven't heard of so far.

Do you have more details, what position would you project him at?

I wondered that, but Rivals has became a lot better about that, and I remember hearing something about them expecting to get a kid out of Florida.

Terry lists a couple preferred walk-ons. Says he's working to confirm a couple more.

    Serkaut Aware, 5'10" 165 - SF Washington
My guess is that he is being brought in as a cornerback.

    Alex Schnell, 6'3" 205 - RC Stevens
    LB/TE - http://recruit-match.ncsasports.org/...clientID=39328
Aware could be a heck of a return specialist. He seemed to do real well at WHS returning.

Alex Schnell could turn out to be very good down the road. I think if it hadn't been for a couple of knee injuries he would have been a scholarship player for sure.

The above link has some info on Trent. If you click on the scouting report tab you will see alot of good comments from his coaches. Sounds like if LB doesn't work out he has the ability to play WR or S.

Watched some of the highlights, he has good size, good speed and ridiculous body control for his frame. Some of the cuts he made were amazing for a guy of 6'3". Also, hire the guy who designs the plays, great blocking schemes and play development. I don't like making predictions, but this guy looks to be great.

I call signing day football Christmas, and it is shaping up to be a good one. Hope we have one or two left.
I kinda like the FBS misses/last minute additions/walk-ons: i.e. Brodie, McKnight, and Domino to name a few. They play with a chip(in a good way), and it shows on the field.
It remains to be seen of course, but on paper and watching the highlight films, this looks to be one our best classes yet. Go Jacks!

Very good article, looking forward to seeing this kid in a Jackrabbit uniform.
