Blog on Kline by Terry V. Has some other recruiting stuff in there. I really hope they get a couple decent WRs. The team needs help big time.

I don't know about BCS scholarships but Dale was a far better football player than basketball player. I hope he decides to give football a try. I would expect he'll be a great contributer if he does.

my point though is if he wants to play let him, if hes good enough to get on the field he will.

I agree, and its not like Moss is a stranger, I suspect he will be getting tutoring in learning the play book quickly. The thing that keeps me wondering is how close is he to receiving his degree and will he be wanting to move on. I realize he played bb as a true freshman so I would think he will need another year or maybe just a semester to graduate. Also what kind of job offers are in his realm of choice?

Lastly Stig does not miss many home bb games, and I am sure he has marvelled at Moss's leaping ability. I often wondered how football coaches could evaluate foot ball candidates while they are playing bb, but I suspect they learn a great deal from watching. And as Yogi said, "We can observe a lot by watching"

I'd like to thank Mitchell also for all the tedious work he's done to keep us all informed.Your efforts are appreciated!

If anything it will the opposite and we might not use Dale very much. Coach Stig has always been very loyal to the players that have put the time in within the program.
However, if his skills are too good to ignore than he'll see the field.

I think with his athletic ability and size I think he could probably come in next season and contribute to the team. There have been many players in college switch sports for just 1 season and do very well. Just look at TE Jimmy Graham who is with the New Orleans Saints. He played basketball at Miami and then only 1 season of football and turned out very well.

I don't think our team is in the position to turn down someone that athletically gifted. I think he could be an asset at any point on the the field, but at the very least just throw lobs to him inside of the 10. Not like it's difficult to learn that.

And our offense has, what, 4 different routes? All Dale has to learn is a slant, an out and in and the maybe a post or corner. Our offense is way too simple.

Question marks with SR Dale Moss & SO Julian Wagner (missed 10 with injury)

Unless one of these players can step up and produce like Kool did last year, a JUCO might not be a bad idea. The two redshirt freshman received good reviews last season so they might be able to contribute next year. Schneider is a big-target, possession receiver and Wright is a speedster.
