That's why I was thinking he might transition to guard. I defiantly don't see him at the "Spinner" position or at LB.

Tory Dibb from Brown Deer, Wis., said that he has given a verbal to SDSU. He projects as a DE/LB hybrid aka a spinner.

Highlight videos (Shows him mostly as an O-Lineman):

    - Looks more like a DT, maybe G prospect to me.
    - Brown Deer is an outer suburb north of Milwaukee

In other football news, Burnsville's Cam Jones recently made his verbal to the Jackrabbits before ever setting foot on campus. That doesn't happen all the time. But it may have paid dividends for SDSU in the sense that Jones was already on board when he finally visited over the weekend and therefore may have been a solid secondary salesman.
"Talking to Cam - he's about the best recruiting I know," Blaine QB Eric Kline said.

I wish both Brad and Alex well in both of their future endeavors. But I am really getting intrigued with Cam Jones. How exciting to have a recruit commit before ever setting foot on campus. Having that combination of passion with the physical tools he has, and the experience of having played QB in high school. That is exciting. He could help out the passing game immensly with that size and ability to read defenses.
Neither of these two would be part of some of the underlying problems that were hinted at by TV and Kyle. So I assume those situations have been cleaned up...because that's all I can do is ASSUME, and you know what that word means.

That's not a unique issue, with both football and non-football playing college students.

Good news 2o1o, and good for this young man for getting squared away!

    A few little factoids:

    • Donovan & JeRyan not only went to school together, they are best buddies.
    • Cedric Simmons and JeRyan played little league football together

I just thought it was kinda cool how they all visited the same school. Yes, I am a trivia geek

We have 5 very solid Wr's and 4 of those for the next 3 to 4 yrs. So we are sitting very good there in my opinion. yes we need to pick a couple up to redshirt for the future.

I'm not sure on the specifics, but it looks like USD landed a recruit that we had an offer out to. That certainly hasn't happened in a while. The only occasion I can remember after the DI move was Robbie Jelsma turning down a preferred walk-on offer from SDSU last year and choosing a full ride from USD (only to later transfer to SDSU).

OG Derek Chancellor, 6'5" 290, McCook Nebraska

Says he also had an offer from UND
