Re: Playoff field
We deserve a home playoff game, I've said that before and I believe it more than ever tonight. Despite UNI's loss today we have the best defense in the FCS, we lost at Cal-Poly largely because or starting QB was hurt. SIU just flat outplayed us but that won't happen again.
More importantly, we will finish in the top 15 for attendance during one of our first full years as an official DI member. We have shown that we can fill the place for a post-season game (women's NIT). The NCAA loves SDSU, I am confident of that. See you all at CAS on Saturday.

I used to have alot of hatred for UNC/Big Sky...now it's just pity. How great would SDSU/NDSU have been to the Big Sky? I'll admit, that was awhile ago and I can't remember too much about it. I remember geography being an issue and remember wanting to be in that conference so bad and hoping they would want us. I remember feeling like we were in real trouble when they didn't want us. I also remember the joy of having a conference like the MVFC having us...but also wondering how the heck we would compete in such a great conference. I know that sports are just a small part of our lives, but man, this is the week, the week to just truly be thankful for all the great things that have happened to us in the move to D1. It's really been so much more than I ever thought it would/could be......and our best days are ahead! WE'RE IN THE FCS PLAYOFFS!!!
