Terry has a teaser about "more verbals" and to check back soon.

This kid has Ramses Barden type size and broke every receiving record for Andover MN. Also a very good basketball player averaging 20.8 pts in his first 5 games.
3.91 GPA Looking at majoring in Pharmacy
Played almost every snap of every game at WR and DB
Had interest from NDSU and UND
Sawyer is a great punt/kickoff prospect. He showed great leg strength and had great charts at the National Scholarship Camp. He proved he has Division I tools and he will continue to develop in college, which will help him become more consistent in the years to come.
This kicking/punting camp ranks Sawyer as #18 punter in the nation and a 5 out of 5 star rating. http://kohlskicking.com/rating_syste...rs_punters.htm Ethan is a good athlete who palyed multple postitions in HS. He showed Elite leg strength and should be able to kick off and punt at a high level in college when he is able to focus on those skills. Ethan has a very fast leg.
I also noticed that he played Linebacker in high school and is a decent track athlete running the 400 & 800.

So far the Jacks have 15 verbals with coach Stig saying they were targeting around 18. I wouldn't be surprised to see 5-7 more sign though as I think a handful of the ones on the list are either preferred walk-ons or partial scholarships.
Would think some Defensive Backs, running backs and maybe a linebacker would be the remaining focus. A running back with blazing speed would be nice to compliment the power type backs we traditionally have on the roster.
On a side note, Ethan's older brother Sam is the place kicker from USD that was severely injured in a skiing accident at Terry Peak over winter break. The last I heard he was back in Sioux Falls and getting better every day. Get well Sam and welcome aboard Ethan.
One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.

The best part about Ethan kicking is the tackling afterwards. He has complete disregard for his body. Unbelievable hits...especially from a kicker.
