I was in the south end zone and the play was pretty much in my face. He caught the ball. The ball didn't come near the ground. He had it clutched against his shoulder. I didn't want to admit it at the time but it was a good catch. Watching it live, I never doubted it was a catch.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

It's not that great because I panned quickly and blindly fired off the shutter and got two shots. My camera didn't have time to autofocus thus the blurry shots that I tried to sharpen somewhat with photoshop.

I plan to have my tailgting, pre-game, and game photos up late tonight or tomorrow morning. I also have some Hobo Day Parade pictures I plan to put up in a day or so, too.

A question for any McNeese fans... what was the deal with the stick that one of the players ran out with? I was curious about that from the beginning and then at halftime a jacks fan brought a huge tree branch over and set it behind the McNeese bench and started yelling at players about our stick... pretty funny to say the least.

          Bringing The Wood

It's a little something I think Luke Lawton started when he was a fullback with McNeese. He's now with the Oakland Raiders. I guess the fan didn't get it either or he would have brought something other than a branch.
          heh

Crossfire got it right. It means they are "bringing the wood". In our 2002 run to the N.C. Game, Luke Lawton had a piece of firewood he would carry out on to the field. They changed to the large branch or stick because it is easier to handle and to see.
